Mindfulness in schools

Emma Martin Mindfulness has been successfully running sessions for staff and children in Schools since 2019.

Whether you're looking for a wellbeing INSET session that truly delivers, to a regular childrens club, or ad hoc workshops/ group interventions- we've got you covered.

What we offer

Our team are experienced, fully insured and enhanced DBS holders - passionate about sharing the magic of mindfulness in schools and education settings. All team members have also worked in schools, and are parents themselves- so we understand the importance of making mindfulness work for your setting, your students, your staff and your school community.

Staff training/ wellbeing sessions for TWILIGHT/ INSET: Tailored sessions to meet your schools requirements, anything from aromatherapy creation to mindful eating and meditation. Practical techniques for use at home and in the classroom, and delivered in an accessible, practical and enjoyable way.

Ad Hoc Childrens Mental health/ Mindfulness workshops/ teaching days or holiday clubs: Enjoy a mindfulness assembly, Holiday camp, or a whole day of workshops for all classes. With a combination of mindful movement, age appropriate breathing techniques, emotion regulation tools/ games creative activities, Crafts and more.

Weekly clubs: Choose from Breakfast club, Lunch club, after school club or daytime interventions. Clubs are a fantastic way for children to experience the benefits of regular mindfulness practice in a fun and engaging way. Clubs generally last between 30- 60 mins and can be parent paid, PP or school/ PTA funded to suit your budgets and community needs.

Trusted and Experienced team members: Emma, Cesca and Annemarie bring a wealth of expertise, from Mindfulness and Mental health training, counselling skills to COIN Interventions and ELSA support- All with SEN experience. All team members have Enhanced DBS's, are fully insured, Peadiatric first aid duty of care trained and passionate about childrens wellbeing.
